How to get started on NOVA
A wonderful question! Just download Headway NOVA app on your phone and sign up using your email address, Facebook, Apple ID, or Google account.
Afterwards, you can start investing in your first project by browsing available properties on the Invest tab. You can learn more by following our onboarding guide in the app.
How does real estate tokenization work?
Buying an entire property often requires a large amount of capital, which can be challenging for many investors. That’s where real estate tokenization comes in.
During tokenization, the value of the property is divided into thousands of small shares backed by blockchain tokens. By buying a token, you invest in the entire property. Each token represents the right of an investor to receive proportionate profits from property value appreciation and rental dividends. The more tokens you buy, the bigger your share of the profits is.

How to calculate your investment returns
Before investing, it’s natural to wonder what profit you can expect from your investment. Or how much you should invest to get the returns you want. That’s why NOVA has an investment calculator. Here’s how you use it:
- Navigate to the property you want to invest in.
- Open the property card and scroll until you get to the Financials section.
- Under the chart, you will see a toggle – drag it to select the number of tokens you want to calculate your profits for. Or enter the number manually.
- Tap Calculate returns.
- On the chart above, you can see your expected gross income year-over-year: rental dividends (if any) and property appreciation dividends you can get for your investment, the initial investment needed to buy this number of tokens, and the total gross profit anticipated at the end of the project.
- Below the calculator, you can find the breakdown of all the operational costs and fees.
- The expected total net return can be seen after all the costs, and this is what you can get at the end of the project after all the fees.
This way, you can better understand your returns and plan your initial investment better.
Does NOVA have a license?
Yes. Headway NOVA is operated by JAROCEL PTY LTD, which in turn is authorized and regulated by FSCA (Financial Sector Conduct Authority), license number 52108.
You can also see the license in the Profile tab in the NOVA app.
When will my dividends come?
You can always check when your next dividends arrive in your app. To do this,
- Go to your Portfolio and scroll down to the Dividends section.
- Tap on Calendar.
- You will now see all upcoming dividend payments, including the date, fees, and net dividend amount.
When the time comes, the dividends will be deposited into your NOVA Wallet. From there, you can reinvest or withdraw them. To learn more about your financial management, read this guide.
How to change the in-app language
Your communication language is an important part of your journey to success.
Headway NOVA supports five languages: English, Indonesian, Malay, Portuguese, and Thai. If you need to change your language, simply open the app and tap on the Profile icon. Scroll down to the Account settings section.
Tap on the arrow and choose your language. This will change the language of your app interface. And, while you’re at it, you can choose your communication language. This will ensure you receive emails and push notifications (if they’re enabled) in your native language.
How to enable push notifications
Since we’re already talking about communication, enabling push notifications is a good idea. They will help you quickly receive updates about NOVA’s changes, dividend payments, new properties, and so much more.
To turn on NOVA push notifications, go to your phone’s settings and find the Apps section. There, tap on NOVA and choose Notifications. This is where you should choose to show notifications.

How much is the dividend amount in my local currency?
NOVA’s dividends are always credited to your account in USD. Because currency exchange rates fluctuate daily, an exact amount in your local currency, such as IDR or BRL, can quickly change as well. To estimate your expected income, you can check the current exchange rate for your currency on reliable online platforms.
Please note that when you withdraw dividends from your NOVA Wallet, the exchange rate applied will depend on the payment method you choose. You will see the current rate for your payment method in the withdrawal form.
