Headway NOVA always prioritizes the security of your investments and personal data. We are pleased to announce the launch of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), a critical security update that adds a new layer of protection for your account.
Why you should enable 2FA
Two-factor authentication adds a secondary verification step to your login and transaction processes. Once activated, all transactions will require a unique, time-sensitive code generated by an authenticator app on your mobile device. This significantly reduces the risk of fraudulent activity and ensures that only you have control over your account.
How to set up 2FA on NOVA
The implementation process is straightforward and can be completed in a few minutes:
- Open the NOVA app, navigate to the Profile tab, and locate the Security settings section.
- Toggle the switch for Two-factor authentication to the "on" position.
- You will receive a one-time password (OTP) via your registered email address. Enter this code into the confirmation form within the app.
- Follow the in-app prompts to link a reliable authenticator service, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Use your chosen authenticator app to scan the provided QR code or manually enter the secret text code.
- Enter the digital code generated by your authenticator app back into the NOVA app to finalize the activation.
While we strongly recommend keeping 2FA enabled for your protection, this feature can be disabled at any time through your security settings if necessary.
